Chili Con Queso (Chili Cheese Dip)
Ingredients
- 1 c. American cheese
- 1/2 c. Cheddar cheese
- 1/4 c. cream or possibly evaporated lowfat milk
- 1 med. fresh tomato, minced
- 1 or possibly more fresh, frzn, or possibly canned green chiles, minced
- 1/8 teaspoon garlic pwdr
Directions
- 1. Heat both cheeses together on low heat.2. After cheese melts, add in cream, stirring constantly.
- 3. Add in minced tomato, minced green chili and garlic pwdr. Stir to blend all flavors. Add in more cream if you like.
- 4. Serve warm in chafing dish with Tostados. Yields 1 3/4 cups.
