Chili Cheese Wontons
Ingredients
- 2 Tbsp. Diced green chilies
- 1 c. Grated Parmesan cheese
- 4 ounce Cream cheese, room temp
- 1 x Egg yolk
- 50 x Wonton wrappers Vegetable oil for frying
Directions
- Combine chilies, cheeses and egg yolk. Place 1 tsp. of filling in center of each wonton wrapper; moisten edges with water, mix in half and press firmly to seal. In a deep fryer or possibly Dutch oven, heat oil to 375 degrees. Fry wontons till lightly browned and drain on paper towels.
- Yield: about 50.
