Chicken with Young Tamarind Leaves Soup

- 500g Chicken cutlets
- 1 cup young tamarind leaves
- 2 med red tomatoes, chopped
- 1 tsp garlic, minced
- 1 tsp red onion (shallots), sliced
- 2 cups chicken broth
- 2 cups water
Directions
- On the deep pan, saute in 3 tablespoons cooking oil a 1/4 clove of minced garlic, 1 small sliced red onion and chopped red tomatoes.
- Add 2 cups of water, chicken broth cube dissolved in 2cups of water, a cup of chopped young tamarind leaves and put the 500 grams of washed cuts of fresh chicken.
- Let boil until the meat is tender.
- Season the soup with 2 tablespoons of fish sauce (patis).
