Chicken & Shrimp Creole
Ingredients
- 3/4 pound boneless chicken, cut into strips
- 2 tbsp. butter
- 1 red bell pepper, julienned
- 1 c. zucchini, julienned
- 1 can (4 1/2 ounce.) sm. shrimp, liquid removed or possibly use fresh shelled shrimp
- 1/2 c. thinly sliced scallion
- 1 c. crushed canned tomatoes
- 1/2 c. Heinz homestyle chicken gravy
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- Warm pepper sauce to taste
- Salt & pepper
Directions
- Lightly saute/fry chicken in butter. Add in pepper and zucchini. Saute/fry 2 min. Stir in shrimp and next 5 ingredients. Simmer 5 min. Add in seasonings. Serve over rice. Makes 4 to 5 servings.
