Chicken In Black Bean Garlic Sauce
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 tsp black bean garlic sauce see * Note
- 1 1/2 Tbsp. oyster sauce
- 1 tsp sugar
- 2 Tbsp. oil
- 3 x garlic cloves chopped
- 1/2 x red bell pepper minced
- 1/2 x green bell pepper minced
- 1 x white onion minced
- 2 x green onions diced, plus more
- 1 lb boneless skinless chicken breasts cut 1" cubes
- 1/2 tsp freshly-grnd white pepper
Directions
- * Note: Black bean garlic sauce is available in Asian markets and the Asian aisle of well-stocked supermarkets.
- Combine, black bean garlic sauce, oyster sauce and sugar and set aside.
- Heat oil in skillet over medium-high heat and saute/fry garlic till light brown, about 2 min. Stir in red and green bell peppers, white onion and green onions. Cook till white onions start to turn translucent/soft, 1 minute. Add in chicken and cook till no longer pink, stirring occasionally, about 3 to 4 min.
- Add in black bean garlic sauce mix and pepper and mix well. Cook till chicken is cooked through, about 3 to 4 more min. Garnish with minced green onions. Serve with white rice.
- This recipe yields 3 to 4 servings.
