    Southern Chicken n Dumplins are a staple in the south. this scratch recipe is easier then you think, give it a try you will be glad you did.

    Ingredients

    • 1 Fryer Chicken
    • 1 large box of
    • Chicken Stock
    • 2 Tablespoons Chicken Bouillon {powder or granules}
    • 4 cups Self Rising Flour
    • Milk
    • Salt and Pepper to taste

    Directions

    1. Cook and debone Chicken { u can boil your Chicken or cook in crock pot} reserve the liquid from the cooked Chicken and put in a large pot.
    2. Add Chicken Stock and Chicken Bouillon. bring to med to low boil.
    3. Make Dumplins : in a bowl put flour make a well in the middle and slowly add milk while mixing. use enough milk to make a soft dough, mixture be able to drop by half Tablespoonfulls into boiling Chicken stock.
    4. after u drop all your dumplins in the stock gently turn them over and push under the stock juice. keep doing this Gently, dumplins will be done in about 15 min. add deboned Chicken and Salt and Pepper.
    5. Do not over cook.
