Chicken Breast with Spinach and Cream Cheese Filling
An awesome recipe I've learned and tried at home. Very nice, creamy chicken meat, and yummy! Ingredients
- 2 whole Chicken breast, deboned
- 1 bunch Spinach leaves, washed
- 1/2 stick Cream cheese
- 2 tbsp Mozzarella cheese, grated
- 1 tsp Garlic powder
- 1 cup Flour
- 1 cup Japanese bread crumbs
- 2 egss, beaten
- salt and pepper to taste
- canola oil for deep frying
Directions
- Saute the spinach leaves in 1 tsp of canola oil.
- Season with salt and pepper,
- Stir fry till well done and set aside.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the cheeses, garlic powder, and spinach.
- Mix thoroughly.
- Get the chicken breast and make a pocket between the meat and insert enough amount of filling inside.
- Dip the chicken with filling on flour, egg, and bread crumbs simultaneously.
- Deep fry.
- Rest the cooked chicken on a paper towel before serving.
