Chestnut Cake
Ingredients
- 2 Fresh eggs
- 100 Gr. Sugar
- 100 Gr. Farina (flour)
- 100 Gr. Butter
- 200 Gr. Chestnut jam
- 1 Tbsp. Brewer's yeast
- 1 pinch salt
- Note: 100 gr = 3 1/2 oz. or roughly 1/2 cup
Directions
- In a bowl, beat the eggs with the sugar and salt.
- Work in the butter to make it creamy and add the chestnut jam.
- Butter/grease a 30 cm (11-12 inches) cake pan/mold.
- Pour the mixture and bake in a moderate oven (160°C/320°F) until the cake take a nice golden color.
- To be enjoyed cold.
