Cashew Chicken 2
Ingredients
- 2 x Chicken, breasts, boneless
- 3 Tbsp. Rice wine, or possibly dry sherry
- 2 tsp Soy sauce
- 2 tsp Ginger, shredded
- 2 x Onion, peeled and diced.
- 2 sm Green peppers, cut 1/2 in
- 1/3 c. Straw mushrooms, liquid removed
- 1/3 c. Cashew
- 4 Tbsp. Oyster sauce Sherry, or possibly sake (rice wine)
- 1 Tbsp. Hoisin sauce Ketchup ,(yes, this is a c
- 5 x spice pwdr Sugar, (just a healthy pinch) Pepper flakes
Directions
- Stir-fry essentials: 1 Tbsp. crushed garlic 1 Tbsp. shredded ginger peanut oil
- as needed (appx 4 Tbsp.) With following ingredients marinate )) for at least 30 min. Drain marinade and throw away. To prepare:
- 1. Marinate meat
- 2. heat wok to high
- 3. add in oil, garlic, and ginger. stir
- 4. add in chicken, brown momentarily
- 5. add in all veggies
- 6. add in cashew and heat for a
- short time
- 7. add in sauce ingredients, stir until bubbly. If desired, you
- may add in a some cornstarch solution to thicken (1/2 starch, 1/2 water)
- 8.
- serve immediatly
- Cooking Time: 5-7 mins
