Carrots And Apples In White Wine
Ingredients
- 2 x Carrots sliced thin
- 1 x Granny Smith Apple moderately thick sliced chunks fresh ginger 2 thin slices off root, slivered White Wine Lemon Juice to dip apples in
- 1 tsp Sugar
Directions
- In frying pan, steam/slightly cook carrots, and slivers of ginger in 1/4 C
- water. After about 8 minutes pour off most of remaining water and add in white wine and apple chunks (dip in lemon juice to retain color). Cook about 10
- minutes more or possibly less - they should still be crunchy not soft. Sprinkle with sugar, mix well and cook another 2 - 3 minutes.
- Should still be crunchy.
- This is very good!
