Carciofi Alla Romana (Artichokes Roman Style)
Ingredients
- 4 ounce white wine
- 1 ounce fresh rosemary
- 4 ounce virgin extra virgin olive oil
- 2 ounce lemon juice
- 2 x cloves garlic, minced
- 10 ounce water
- 1 tsp black peppercorns
- 4 med artichokes, stems cut to 1.5"
Directions
- Combine first 7 ingredients in an ovenproof casserole. Add in artichokes. Bake covered in preheated 375F oven 30 to 40 min till tender. Remove artichokes from liquid, put on tray to cold. Cut in quarters. Serve at room temperature.
