I was thinking about holiday baskets and I wanted to add a new cookie recipe this year and I thought why not eggnog. It's only available during the holidays so it will be a once a year treat.

    Ingredients

    • 4 1/2 Cups Cake Flour
    • 2 tsp Baking Powder
    • 1 tsp Ground Saigon Cinnamon
    • 1 tsp Nutmeg
    • 2 1/2 Cup Sugar
    • 3 Sticks Butter
    • 1 Cup Eggnog
    • 2 tsp Madagascar Vanilla
    • 4 Brown Egg Yolks
    • Extra Nutmeg for Top
    • 1/2 Package Kraft Caramel Bits (Frozen)

    Directions

    1. Add Flour, Baking Powder, Cinnamon and Nutmeg to a large Mixing Bowl. Mix together and set aside.
    2. Mix Butter and Sugar together in the mixer until creamy.
    3. Add Eggs, Eggnog and Vanilla to the Butter Mixture. Mix until creamy.
    4. Add the Flour Mixture and Mix until creamy.
    5. Add Caramel Bits to the Cookie Dough. Make sure that they are frozen. This keeps them from melting too much when the Cookies are baked. Mix until creamy.
    6. Drop Cookie Dough; about a teaspoon size on an un-greased Cookie Sheet and sprinkle with nutmeg.
    7. Bake at 300 degrees for 20 minutes.
    8. Cool Cookies on a cooling rack or Aluminum Foil.
    9. Put on a plate and Enjoy!
