Caramel Eggnog Cokies
I was thinking about holiday baskets and I wanted to add a new cookie recipe this year and I thought why not eggnog. It's only available during the holidays so it will be a once a year treat. Ingredients
- 4 1/2 Cups Cake Flour
- 2 tsp Baking Powder
- 1 tsp Ground Saigon Cinnamon
- 1 tsp Nutmeg
- 2 1/2 Cup Sugar
- 3 Sticks Butter
- 1 Cup Eggnog
- 2 tsp Madagascar Vanilla
- 4 Brown Egg Yolks
- Extra Nutmeg for Top
- 1/2 Package Kraft Caramel Bits (Frozen)
Directions
- Add Flour, Baking Powder, Cinnamon and Nutmeg to a large Mixing Bowl. Mix together and set aside.
- Mix Butter and Sugar together in the mixer until creamy.
- Add Eggs, Eggnog and Vanilla to the Butter Mixture. Mix until creamy.
- Add the Flour Mixture and Mix until creamy.
- Add Caramel Bits to the Cookie Dough. Make sure that they are frozen. This keeps them from melting too much when the Cookies are baked. Mix until creamy.
- Drop Cookie Dough; about a teaspoon size on an un-greased Cookie Sheet and sprinkle with nutmeg.
- Bake at 300 degrees for 20 minutes.
- Cool Cookies on a cooling rack or Aluminum Foil.
- Put on a plate and Enjoy!
