Captain's Choice Tilapia
Ingredients
- 1 c. lowfat sour cream
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp grnd thyme
- 1 x garlic pwdr
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
- 1 1/2 lb tilapia fillets cut serving size
- 3/4 c. dry bread crumbs
- 1/4 c. finely-minced pecans
Directions
- Combine first 6 ingredients and mix well. In another dish combine bread crumbs and nuts. Dip fish pcs in lowfat sour cream mix, then coat proportionately with the bread crumb and nut mix.
- Place fish in a circular fashion in a round baking dish with the thickest part to the outside. Cover and microwave on High for 2 to 3 min. Check to see if fish is cooking proportionately; make adjustments as necessary.
- Microwave for an additional one minute or possibly till the fish flakes easily. Remove from oven and serve immediately.
- This recipe yields 4 servings.
