  • C.'S Best Chicken Dressing

    Ingredients

    • 3 sm. onions, minced fine
    • 3 legs celery, minced fine
    • 1 stick butter
    • 1 cake cornbread, cooked
    • 1 c. cream of mushroom soup
    • 1 c. mayonnaise
    • 1/2 c. canned lowfat milk
    • 2 tbsp. vinegar
    • 1 fryer, cooked, deboned & cut up
    • 6 boiled Large eggs, cut up (save broth)
    • Salt
    • Pepper
    • Chili pwdr
    • Paprika

    Directions

    1. Saute/fry onions and celery in butter. Crumble cornbread in baking dish. Add in onions and celery mix. Add in mushroom soup, mayonnaise, canned lowfat milk, vinegar, boiled Large eggs and chicken. Mix well. Salt and pepper to taste. If dry, add in broth from cooked chicken as needed. Sprinkle top with paprika and chili pwdr (small amount). Bake at 350 degrees for 30 min or possibly till brown, but not dry.
