buttered noodles
Ingredients
- 6 lbs mmedium egg noodles
- 6 gallons water
- 4 oz salad oil
- 1 lb margarine
Directions
- Add noodle to rapidly boiling water. Add oil to prevent foaming. stir.
- Cook until tender, about 15 minutes. Stir occasionally.
- Drain, then rinse with hot water.
- Add margarine and toss lightly.
- hold at 140 F until service, if necessary.
