Butter-Nut Snowballs
Gooseberry Patch - Paula Bondy Ingredients
- 1 cup butter, softened
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 cups flour
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 2 cups pecans, finely chopped
- Garnish, powdered sugar
Directions
- Mix together the butter, sugar, and vanilla until light and fluffy
- Set aside
- In a separate bowl, combine the flour and salt
- Add to the butter mixture
- Blend thoroughly
- Stir in the pecans
- Form into one-inch balls
- Arrange on a lightly greased baking sheets
- Bake at 325 F for about 15 to 20 minutes or until set but not brown
- Cool completely
- Roll into the powdered
- sugar
