    Ingredients

    • 1 cup butter, softened
    • 1/2 cup sugar
    • 2 teaspoon vanilla extract
    • 2 cups flour
    • 1/2 tsp salt
    • 2 cups pecans, finely chopped
    • Garnish, powdered sugar

    Directions

    1. Mix together the butter, sugar, and vanilla until light and fluffy
    2. Set aside
    3. In a separate bowl, combine the flour and salt
    4. Add to the butter mixture
    5. Blend thoroughly
    6. Stir in the pecans
    7. Form into one-inch balls
    8. Arrange on a lightly greased baking sheets
    9. Bake at 325 F for about 15 to 20 minutes or until set but not brown
    10. Cool completely
    11. Roll into the powdered
    12. sugar
