    Butter chicken or murgh makhani is an Indian dish from the Punjab region popular in countries all over the world. It can be made as hot or as mild as you wish

    Ingredients

    • Chicken-350gm(grilled )
    • Onion-1(chopped)
    • Butter-4tbsp
    • Cream-50gm
    • Black cardamom-2
    • Cloves-3-4
    • Black peppercorn-4-5
    • Tomato puree-2tbsp
    • Curds-3tbsp
    • Kasturi methi-2tsp
    • Fresh coriander-2tbsp
    • Red chili powder-2tsp
    • Salt
    • Kitchen king-2tsp

    Directions

    1. Take 3tbsp butter in a pan
    2. Make a bouquet gurney with black cardamom, cloves and black peppercorns
    3. Add it in the butter
    4. Add onion and fry till golden brown
    5. Add curds and cook for 4-5 mins
    6. Add tomato puree and again cook for 2-3 mins
    7. Remove the bouquet gurney and blend the onion and tomato paste in a blender
    8. Take another pan
    9. Add 1tbsp butter
    10. Add the onion paste ,salt, kitchen king and red chili powder
    11. Cook for 2 mins
    12. Add chicken and two cups of water
    13. Cook till chicken is done
    14. Add cream and cook for 2-3 mins
    15. Add kasturi methi and fresh coriander
    16. Garnish with cream and butter
    17. Serve hot
