  • Bulalong Tagaytay

    Beef soup that is very famous in Tagaytay City here in the Philippines.

    Ingredients

    • 1 whole Bulalo leg
    • 2 Onions chopped in half
    • 2-3inch Ginger
    • 3 stalks Onion Leaks
    • 2 pcs Corns
    • 1 whole Cabbage
    • 1 bunch Pechay
    • salt and pepper to taste

    Directions

    1. Use a pressure cooker to tender the beef. Let it boil for 2 hours or until its tender off the bone kind of thing.
    2. Add salt, pepper, ginger, onions in the pressure cooker.
    3. Once tender, remove the beef residue on top.
    4. Let it keep simmering as you add leeks, corn.
    5. Keep boiling under medium heat until corn is fork tender.
    6. Adjust taste with salt and pepper.
    7. Add the veggies and simmer for a minute to not overcook the leaves.
    8. Serve with soysauce with chili and calamansi.
