  • Bubba’s 6 Ingredient Pot Roast Done In A Crockpot

    Ingredients

    • 2½ lbs tip round roast
    • 1 15oz can tomato sauce
    • 1 onion, cut into thin strips
    • 2 bay leaves
    • 3 TBS all-purpose flour
    • Salt and pepper to taste

    Directions

    1. Spray Crockpot with non-stick cooking spray.
    2. Place meat in pot with fat side up.
    3. Pour tomato sauce over roast.
    4. Place onion rings over all.
    5. Toss in bay leaves.
    6. Cover and cook 1 hour on high.
    7. After 1 hour reduce heat to low and cook 6 - 8 more hours.
    8. Carefully lift meat out of pot and remove to a warm platter.
    9. Pour drippings through strainer into medium sized saucepan and discard material in strainer. Whisk in flour to liquid.
    10. Cook, stirring constantly over medium heat until thickened.
    11. Season to taste with salt and pepper, serve alongside roast.
