Broccoli Or Broccoli Rabe With Olive Oil And Garlic
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 lb Bunch broccoli or possibly broccoli rabe, rinsed
- 1 x Thick ends of stems trimmed, in 2" lengths Salt, to taste
- 2 Tbsp. Extra-virgin extra virgin olive oil
- 1 x Garlic clove, in thin slivers
- 1 pch Warm red pepper flakes
Directions
- 1. Fill a large, wide saucepan with water; heat to boiling. Add in the broccoli or possibly broccoli rabe and salt; boil till tender, 6 to 8 min.
- Drain immediately. Wipe the pan dry.
- 2. Add in the oil, garlic and red pepper flakes to the saucepan. Heat over low heat, stirring, till warmed and garlic begins to sizzle, about 5 min.
- 3. Stir the broccoli rabe into the hot oil to coat. Serve at once.
