Broccoli in Brown Butter
Broccoli covered in garlic butter, with lemon! The best broccoli I have ever had! Tastes like candy! Ingredients
- 2 pounds broccoli (steamed)
- 1/3 cup butter
- 3 garlic cloves, halved (I slice them, in order to get more flavor from them)
- 1 table spoon fresh lemon juice (or more if desired)
Directions
- Steam broccoli.
- Cook butter with galric in heavy large skillet over medium-low heat until foam subsides and butter is deep amber color, stirring occasionally, about 5 minutes.
- Immediately remove from heat.
- Discard garlic.
- Stir in lemon juice.
- Add broccoli and toss to coat.
- Season to taste with salt and pepper.
