  • Broccoli, Ham And Cheese Roll Ups

    Ingredients

    • 1 pkt refrigerated crescent rolls - (8 ounce)
    • 2 can deviled ham - (3 ounce ea)
    • 1 pkt frzn broccoli spears - (10 ounce) cooked according to package directions, liquid removed, cooled
    • 2 Tbsp. butter
    • 2 Tbsp. flour
    • 1 c. lowfat milk
    • 1 jar Cheese Whiz - (8 ounce)
    • 1 tsp Dijon mustard
    • 1 dsh freshly-grnd white pepper

    Directions

    1. Separate dough along perforations into 8 triangles.
    2. Divide ham between the dough triangles; spread proportionately.
    3. Divide broccoli into 8 equal portions, placing 2 pcs along wide end of triangle with floret facing out; roll crescent from wide to narrow end.
    4. Place on greased cookie sheet. Bake in preheated 350 degree oven 15 to 20 min or possibly till lightly browned.
    5. In medium saucepan, heat butter over medium heat; add in flour and whisk to blend; cook 1 minute. Gradually add in lowfat milk and continue whisking till sauce thickens.
    6. Reduce heat to low; stir in cheese, mustard and pepper. Cook 3 to 5 min. Spoon over baked crescents.
    7. This recipe yields 8 servings.
