BREAD PUDDING ORGANIC
Made with all organic ingredients can be made with chocolate by omitting raisins & adding 2 more tablespoons of unsalted butter for a total of 6 tablespoons of butter and 12 ounces of bittersweet chocolate together. Add the chocolate and butter mixture to the egg mixture in step 4. Ingredients
- 1 CUP ORGANIC RASINS -SET ASIDE
- 4 TABLESPOONS OF UNSALTED ORGANIC BUTTER, MELTED
- 3 CUPS ORGANIC WHITE BREAD, SLICED INTO CHUNKS
- 1 1/2 CUPS ORGANIC MILK
- 1/2 CUP CREAMER
- 6 ORGANIC EGGS
- 2 CUPS ORGANIC GRANULATED SUGAR
- 1 TABLESPOON ORGANIC VANILLA
- 1 TABLESPOON ORGANIC COCONUT EXTRACT
Directions
- SLICE BREAD INTO SMALL CHUNKS & PUT IN LARGE BOWL.
- POUR THE MILK AND CREAMER OVER THE BREAD AND SET ASIDE.
- BEAT THE EGGS AND SUGAR UNTIL SMOOTH AND THICK.
- ADD THE VANILLA & COCONUT EXTRACT AND THE MELTED BUTTER AND THE RAISINS.
- TOSS THE EGG MIXTURE WITH THE BREAD TO BLEND.
- POUR INTO THE GREASED 10" X 10" X 3" DEEP GLASS BAKING CONTAINER.
- BAKE AT 350 DEGREES F. UNTIL BROWN AND ALMOST SET FOR APPROXIMATELY 45 MINUTES.
