    My son loves this recipe. I can't remember where I got it from. I usually double it for leftovers.

    Ingredients

    • 1 lb boneless skinless chicken breast, cut into bite sized pieces.
    • 1-2T. olive oil
    • 1 garlic clove, minced
    • 1/4 tsp ginger
    • 3/4 tsp crushed red pepper flakes
    • 1/4 cup apple juice
    • 1/3 cup light brown sugar
    • 2 Tbsp ketchup
    • 1 Tbsp cider vinegar
    • 1/2 cup water
    • 1/3 cup soy sauce

    Directions

    1. Heat oil in a large skillet. Add chicken and cook until lightly browned. Remove chicken. Add remaining ingredients, heating over med high heat until well mixed and dissolved. Add chicken and bring to a hard boil. reduce heat and simimer for 20-40 min until sauce reduces. Or you can add some cornstarch to thicken it up faster.

      Great as good as I expected. My husband thinks it's a little spicy. So some who don't like spicy I would cut back on the Red pepper a little.
