Great as good as I expected. My husband thinks it's a little spicy. So some who don't like spicy I would cut back on the Red pepper a little.

Bourbon Chicken
My son loves this recipe. I can't remember where I got it from. I usually double it for leftovers. Ingredients
- 1 lb boneless skinless chicken breast, cut into bite sized pieces.
- 1-2T. olive oil
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- 1/4 tsp ginger
- 3/4 tsp crushed red pepper flakes
- 1/4 cup apple juice
- 1/3 cup light brown sugar
- 2 Tbsp ketchup
- 1 Tbsp cider vinegar
- 1/2 cup water
- 1/3 cup soy sauce
Directions
- Heat oil in a large skillet. Add chicken and cook until lightly browned. Remove chicken. Add remaining ingredients, heating over med high heat until well mixed and dissolved. Add chicken and bring to a hard boil. reduce heat and simimer for 20-40 min until sauce reduces. Or you can add some cornstarch to thicken it up faster.
