Blueberry Smoothie
When blueberries are in season, I have a tendency to go banana over them. This is one of my favorite smoothie recipes for breakfast or snack. Ingredients
- 1 Pint Fresh or Frozen Blueberries
- 1 Cup Pineapple-Orange Juice
- 8 Oz. Container Low-Fat Greek Strawberry Yogurt
- 2 Tsp. Granulated Sugar or Honey
Directions
- In a container of an electric blender combine blueberries, juice, yogurt and sugar. Blend until smooth, about 1 minute.
- Serve immediately in tall glasses. Garnish with blueberry skewers spiraled with thin strips of orange peel, if desired.
