Better Tasting Can Green Beans
Store bought canned green beans are a dull resort even in a pinch. I do it Grandma's way for a better dish. It won't make them great but it does make them taste much better. She had a good way with less than wonderful ingredients. Ingredients
- 2 -1lb. Can Green Beans
- 2-3 Tlbs. Butter or Substitute
- 1/2 tsp. Sugar
- Salt and Pepper to Taste
Directions
- Drain and Rinse Green Beans with Cold Water.
- Put well drained Green Beans in a small sauce pan.
- Add the Butter, Sugar, Salt and Pepper. Heat to serving temperature and coat evenly before serving.
