Best Cobbler
Ingredients
- 4 to 6 c. fresh fruit (peaches, nectarines, apricots, berries, etc.) with juice
- 1 stick butter
- 1 c. sugar
- 3/4 c. flour
- 2 teaspoon baking pwdr
- 3/4 c. lowfat milk
Directions
- Peel and slice fresh fruit. In preheated 400 degree oven heat butter in baking dish. Mix together sugar, flour, baking pwdr and lowfat milk. Pour batter into melted butter in warm dish. Pour fruit and juices into batter in warm dish. Bake at 400 degrees till brown on top, 35 to 45 min. Great served with ice cream or possibly whipped topping.
