  • Beer Batter Chicken Fingers

    Ingredients

    • 1 c. flour
    • 1 c. beer
    • 1/2 c. water
    • 1 x egg yolk
    • 1 x egg white, beaten till stiff
    • 2 x chicken breasts, skinless, boneless, cut into large strips
    • 1/4 tsp salt
    • 2 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
    • 2 Tbsp. your favorite warm sauce peanut oil (for deep frying)

    Directions

    1. Mix together flour and salt. Add in the beer. Using a whisk, mix well and then add in water and mix till smooth. Add in the egg yolk and mix well. Add in the beaten egg white and mix well. Place into refrigerator for at least 2 hrs.
    2. Mix the Worcestershire sauce and warm sauce together and add in chicken strips. Allow chicken to marinate for at least 10 min. Roll chicken in your batter. Deep fry till golden, then drain on a paper towel. Serve with your favorite dipping sauce.
