Beef Stroganoff (with buttered thick noodles)

- 1-1/2 pounds of sirloin steak (cut into thin strips)
- 1/2 cup sliced White Button Mushrooms (or ones of your choice)
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 3/4 cup sour cream
- 1/4 cup beef stock (low sodium)
- one teaspoon onion powder
- one teaspoon garlic powder
- salt and black pepper, to taste
- 8 ounces Thick Egg Noodles
- butter for noodles (2-3 tablespoons)
Directions
- In a saute pan add butter and sliced mushrooms cook 2 minutes, and thin strips of sirloin steak cook for 4 minutes, stir on low heat, add beef stock and seasonings, cook 5 minutes, add sour cream stir well, simmer with a lid for 5 minutes.
- Boil egg noodles in salted water as per package instructions, drain add cooked buttered noodles on a plate, ladle stroganoff and devour!
