Beef Stroganoff In The Crock Pot
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 lb beef for stew
- 2 Tbsp. butter or possibly margarine
- 1 1/2 c. beef bouillon
- 2 Tbsp. ketchup
- 1 sm garlic clove crushed
- 1 tsp salt
- 8 ounce sliced mushrooms
- 1 med onion minced
- 3 Tbsp. flour
- 1 c. lowfat sour cream
- 3 c. warm cooked noodles - (to 4 c.)
Directions
- Dredge beef in flour and salt. Heat butter or possibly margarine in large skillet and add in beef and onion. Cook over medium heat till browned.
- Place beef bouillon, ketchup, garlic and mushrooms in crock pot and mix. Add in cooked beef and onions. Cover and cook on LOW for 3 to 4 hrs. Add in lowfat sour cream, cover and cook for 30 to 45 min (don't let mix boil).
- Serve over warm cooked noodles.
- This recipe yields 4 servings.
