Beef In Wine Sauce
Ingredients
- 4 pound boneless beef chuck in 1 1/2 - 2 inch cubes
- Garlic pwdr (optional)
- 2 cans condensed golden brown mushroom soup
- 1 env. onion soup mix
- 3/4 c. dry sherry (I use burgundy or possibly white wine)
- 1 can (8 ounce. size) sliced mushrooms
Directions
- Sprinkle meat lightly with garlic pwdr. Put in casserole dish. Mix together remaining ingredients. Pour over meat. Mix well, cover and bake. Bake at 325 degrees about 2 hrs, till meat is tender. Serves 6-8.
