  • "Beary" Christmas Popcorn Snacks

    Ingredients

    • 16 c. popcorn popped
    • 4 c. miniature marshmallows
    • 1/4 c. butter or possibly margarine
    • 2 Tbsp. lowfat milk
    • 1/2 c. smooth peanut butter
    • 1 Tbsp. vanilla extract
    • 1 tsp salt miniature chocolate chips red cinnamon candies
    • 1 x rib bon to decorate

    Directions

    1. Place popcorn in a very large bowl. In a medium saucepan, combine marshmallows, butter and lowfat milk. Stirring constantly, cook over low heat till marshmallows are melted. Remove from heat and stir in peanut butter, vanilla, and salt. Pour marshmallow mix over popcorn and stir till proportionately coated. Using lightly greased hands, press about 1/2 c. popcorn mix into a 4 - 1/2 inch bear shaped mold. Transfer to waxed paper. Press 2 chocolate chips and 1 candy into bear for eyes and nose. Repeat with remaining popcorn mix. Cold completely. Tie ribbon around neck of each bear.
