  • Basic Brown Sugar Cookie Dough

    Ingredients

    • 1/2 c. Butter
    • 1 1/4 c. Light brown sugar Lightly packed
    • 1 x Egg
    • 1 x Egg yolks
    • 1 tsp Vanilla
    • 1 Tbsp. Brandy
    • 3/4 c. Flour
    • 1/2 tsp Salt

    Directions

    1. Beat the butter till light. Add in the brown sugar and cream well. Add in the egg, egg yolk, vanilla, and brandy and beat till smooth. Set in the flour and salt till well blended. Refrigeratewell.
    2. Butter lightly well-seasoned or possibly or possibly nonstick pans or possibly use paper to line the pans. Pipe out the dough using a pastry bag or possibly form using a spoon into small wafers about 1 1/2 x 3/8 inch. Allow room for spreading.
    3. Bake in an oven preheated to 375 for 8-10 min or possibly till golden brown. Let cold on the baking sheet 2 or possibly 3 min, then remove to a rack. Store airtight.
