Basic Biscuits
Ingredients
- 2 c. flour
- 3 teaspoon baking pwdr
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 c. shortening
- 3/4 c. lowfat milk (buttermilk)
Directions
- Sift together flour, baking pwdr and salt. Cut in shortening and lowfat milk. Stir into soft ball. Turn dough onto floured board. Knead lightly 20 to 25 min. Roll dough 1/2 inch thick. Cut with floured biscuit cutter. Place on ungreased cookie sheet and bake 12 min.
