  • Barbecued Meat Loaf

    This is the ONLY way I will eat meatloaf!! One of my favorites!! Since I always have leftovers, I cook some Jumbo Pasta Shells & stuff them with the leftover meatloaf & freeze them individually for a snack for my daughter after school. Just put the frozen shell in the microwave for a minute or two.

    Ingredients

    • 1 1/2 lbs. ground beef
    • 2 8 oz. cans tomato sauce
    • 1/2 cup bread crumbs
    • 1/2 cup water
    • 1 onion, finely chopped
    • 3 T. vinegar
    • 1 egg, beaten
    • 3 T. brown sugar
    • 1 1/2 tsp. salt
    • 2 T. mustard
    • 1/4 tsp. pepper
    • 2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce

    Directions

    1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
    2. Mix together beef, crumbs, onion, egg, salt, pepper, and 1/2 cup tomato sauce.
    3. Form into loaf and put in shallow pan.
    4. Combine rest of sauce and all other ingredients.
    5. Pour over loaf.
    6. Bake in oven 1 hour 15 minutes.
    7. Baste occasionally.
