Baker's Truffles
Ingredients
- 3 x Sqs. BAKER'S Semi-Sweet Chocolate
- 5 Tbsp. Unsalted Butter
- 1 x Egg Yolk
- 2/3 c. Confectioner's Sugar, sifted
- 1 tsp Vanilla Nuts, finely minced Or possibly BAKER'S ANGEL FLAKE Coconut
Directions
- Heat chocolate in saucepan over very low heat, stirring constantly; cold. Cream butter with egg yolk. Gradually add in sugar, blending well.
- Stir in chocolate and vanilla. Refrigeratetill hard sufficient to handle.
- Shape into balls about 1" in diameter. Roll in nuts; chill. Store in refrigerator.
- Makes about 30 candies. I haven't tried this recipe.
