Baked Spaghetti

- 8 oz angel hair pasta
- 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
- 1 1/2 lbs ground beef
- 1 tsp white pepper
- 1 tsp oregano
- 1 tsp basil
- 1 1/2 tsp sugar
- 1 1/2 tsp Lawry's Seasoning Salt
- 16 oz tomato sauce
- 1 c water
- 16 oz can diced tomatoes
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 onion, chopped
- 1 cup cheddar cheese, grated
- 1 cup monterey jack cheese, grated
- 2 bay leaves
Directions
- In a large pot, combine tomatoes, tomato sauce, water, onions, garlic, parsley, sugar, bay leaves, white pepper, oregano, basil and seasoning salt.
- Bring to a boil over high heat.
- Reduce heat to simmer and cover for 1 hour.
- Cook the ground beef in large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Drain and hide to tomato sauce mixture.
- Simmer for 20 more minutes.
- Cook the pasta according to package directions. (about 6 minutes)
- Preheat over to 350 degrees.
- Remove bay leaves from sauce.
- In a 9 x 13 inch baking dish layer 1/3 of the sauce, 1/2 the pasta, 1/3 cheese.
- Repeat again and top with remaining sauce.
- Bake for 30 minutes.
- Tope with remaining cheese and cook for 5 more minutes.
