Baked Scallops
Ingredients
- 1 lb bay or possibly calico scallops (or possibly sea scallops cut in quarters)
- 2 Tbsp. dry white wine
- 1 Tbsp. fresh lemon juice
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp freshly-grnd white pepper
- 1/4 c. heavy cream
- 1/2 c. fresh bread crumbs mixed with
- 2 Tbsp. melted margarine
Directions
- Mix wine, lemon juice, salt, and pepper in medium bowl. Stir in scallops. Add in cream and stir. Place mix in shallow baking dish. Sprinkle with bread crumb mix.
- Bake at 400 degrees till scallops are done, mix is bubbly and crumbs are browned (approximately 15 min).
- This recipe yields 4 servings.
