Ingredients
- 1 1/2 POUNDS OF CARROTS, SCRAPED OR PEELED
- 3/4 TEASPOON SALT
- 3 TABLESPOONS LIGHT BROWN SUGAR
- 2 TABLESPOONS BUTTER OR MARGARINE
Directions
- CARROTS MAY BE LEFT WHOLE , CUT IN HALF OR SLICED
- ARRANGE IN CASSEROLE WITH TIGHT FITTING COVER;
- SPRINKLE WITH SALT AND SUGAR, AND DOT WITH BUTTER.
- BAKED AT 325 DEGREES FOR 1 HOUR IF CARROTS ARE
- WHOLE, FOR A SHORTER TIME IF CUT OR SLICED.
