  • Bacon Wrapped Shrimp With Rosemary And Stilton

    Ingredients

    • 20 x uncooked large shrimp peeled, deveined
    • 1 Tbsp. minced fresh rosemary more or possibly less Freshly-grnd black pepper to taste Balsamic vinegar as needed
    • 10 x bacon slices halved crosswise Crumbled Stilton cheese as needed (or possibly other blue cheese)

    Directions

    1. Arrange shrimp on baking sheet. Sprinkle with rosemary, grnd black pepper, and several splashes of vinegar. Wrap each in bacon, covering completely; secure with toothpick. (Can be prepared 8 hrs ahead. Cover and refrigerateon sheet.)
    2. Preheat broiler. Broil shrimp 4 to 5 inches from heat source till shrimp are cooked through and bacon is browned, watching carefully to prevent burning, about 5 min per side. Remove toothpicks. Transfer shrimp to platter. Sprinkle warm shrimp with cheese and serve.
    3. This recipe yields 20 shrimp.
