Bacon, Mushroom And Potato Tart
Ingredients
- Egg wash
- 1 sht puff pastry
- 1 lrg Onion, minced
- 100 gm Smoky bacon, (4oz)
- 100 gm Butter, (4oz)
- 200 gm Field mushrooms, sliced (7oz)
- 2 lrg Potatoes, sliced using mandolin
- 1 x Crushed clove of garlic
- 2 tsp Minced fresh thyme
Directions
- Place the pastry on a greased baking sheet. Saute/fry off the onion and bacon and small bits of garlic till softened. Saute/fry off the mushrooms in the butter and pour the bacon and onion over the pastry.
- Lay the potato slices down either side of the pastry and pour the sauteed mushrooms down the centre.
- Bake for 25 min in a preheated oven at 180 C/350 F/gas mark 5.
