Bacon Burger Dogs
These are a fun twist on bacon burgers. Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef (80%/20% is best for burgers)Salt
- Pepper
- Worcestershire Sauce
- Garlic Powder
- 4 slices of bacon
- 8 toothpicks
- Hot dog buns and preferred condiments
Directions
- Soak toothpicks in water while you prepare the ground beef. This will keep them from catching on fire.
- Mix ground beef with seasonings (you can change these up to be whatever spices/seasonings you prefer).
- Divide beefmixture into 4 equal parts (you could make them a little smaller if you prefer, but my crew likes them thick and juicy).
- Using your hands, mold divided portions into “hot dog” shape.
- Wrap one slice of bacon around each burger dog and secure with a toothpick through each end of bacon slices.
- Cook on the grill to desired doneness.
- Serve on hot dog buns with whatever toppings you choose: ketchup, mustard, ranch, BBQ, mayo, lettuce, cheese, tomato, onion, etc.
