Aunt Rose's Belle Acres Fudge Cake
Ingredients
- 2 sticks butter
- 1/2 c. cocoa
- 2 c. sugar
- 1 c. sifted flour
- 4 large eggs, beaten
- 1 c. pecans
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1/8 tsp salt
- 2 c. sugar
- 1/2 c. lowfat milk
- 1/2 c. cocoa
- 1/2 pound butter
Directions
- Cream butter, cocoa, and sugar. Add in large eggs and remaining ingredients. Bake 25 min in a well-greased 8x16 inch pan at 325 degrees.
- Mix ingredients and cook in iron frying pan over low heat. Stir till mix boils. Let it boil hard for 1 minute. Cool for 5 min in mixing bowl and then beat till thick. Spread over fudge cake.
