Aubergine And Ground Meat Casserole
Ingredients
- 1 lb Grnd beef
- 2 tsp Salad oil
- 1 x Aubergine
- 1/3 c. Flour
- 1/4 c. Extra virgin olive oil
- 2 c. Tomato sauce
- 1 tsp Oregano
- 1 Tbsp. Parmesan cheese
- 1 c. Grated cheddar cheese
- 1 tsp Salt Pepper to taste
Directions
- Shape grnd beef into patties; season with salt and pepper; brown in warm oil. Slice unpeeled aubergine into thick slices; season with salt and pepper; coat with flour and brown in oil. Place aubergine slices in baking dish. Top each slice with browned meat patties. Cover with tomato sauce.
- Sprinkle with oregano and Parmesan cheese over all. Top with grated cheddar cheese. Bake at300 degrees for 35 min.
