Apple Mint Julep
Ingredients
- 2 c. fresh mint minced
- 8 c. apple juice
- 1/2 c. fresh lime juice mint sprigs for garnish
Directions
- 1. Place minced mint on a double layer of cheesecloth. Gather edges of cheesecloth together, and tie securely.
- 2. Place cheesecloth and apple juice in a large saucepan; bring to a boil.
- Remove from heat, cover and let cold. Pour into large pitcher. Throw away cheesecloth bag; and stir in lime juice.
- 3. Pour apple juice mix over ice cubes. Garnish with additional mint.
