  • Apple Cranberry Streusel Custard Pie

    Ingredients

    • 1 x (9-inch) unbaked pastry shell
    • 1 x (14-oz) can Eagle. Brand Sweetened Condensed Lowfat milk (NOT evaporated lowfat milk)
    • 1 tsp grnd cinnamon
    • 2 x Large eggs, beaten
    • 1/2 c. warm water
    • 1 1/2 c. fresh or possibly dry-pack frzn cranberries
    • 2 med all-purpose apples, peeled and sliced (about 1 1/2 c.)
    • 1/2 c. firmly packed brown sugar
    • 1/2 c. unsifted flour
    • 1/4 c. margarine or possibly butter, softened
    • 1/2 c. minced nuts

    Directions

    1. Place rack in lower third of oven; preheat oven to 425:. In large bowl, combine Eagle Brand and cinnamon. Add in Large eggs, water and fruits; mix well. Pour into pastry shell.
    2. In medium bowl, combine sugar and flour; cut in margarine till crumbly. Add in nuts. Sprinkle over pie. Bake 10 min.
    3. Reduce oven temperature to 375:; continue baking 30 to 40 min or possibly till golden. Cold. Chill leftovers.
    4. Prep Time: 25 min
