Apple Cheese Spread
Ingredients
- 8 ounce Cream cheese -- soft
- 1 c. Grated cheddar cheese -- at Room temp
- 2 Tbsp. Brandy or possibly sherry
- 1 med Size apple (Granny Smith -- Or possibly the like)
- 1/4 tsp Black pepper
- 1 tsp Dry thyme
- 1 tsp Dry basil
- 1 tsp Dry oregano
Directions
- Combine the cheeses, and brandy. Beat until smooth. Peel, core, and grate the apple into the bowl. Sprinkle w/ the pepper and the herbs. Stir until combined. Spoon into a bowl (or possibly crock), cover, and refrigerateabout an hour.
- Serve on toast or possibly crackers.
