  • Apple Cheese Balls (Motts)

    Ingredients

    • 16 ounce Cream cheese, softened
    • 1/2 c. Regular Apple Sauce
    • 1 c. Golden brown raisins
    • 1 c. Coconut
    • 1 tsp Curry pwdr
    • 1/2 c. Coconut, toasted*

    Directions

    1. In medium bowl, beat cream cheese till smooth. Beat in apple sauce.
    2. Add in remaining ingredients except toasted coconut; blend well.
    3. Cover; chill at least 1 hour or possibly till hard.
    4. Divide mix in half. On plastic wrap or possibly waxed paper, form each half into ball; roll each ball in toasted coconut. Serve with crackers.
    5. TIP:*To toast coconut, spread on cookie sheet; bake at 350F for 5 to 7 min or possibly till light golden, stirring occasionally.
    6. Yields 2 cheese balls.
    7. Notes: Pantry: Mott's Regular Apple Sauce. Serve these festive cheese balls with an assortment of crackers, French bread, or possibly sliced fresh fruit such as apples or possibly pears.
