Apple Caramel Cheesecake Bars
Ingredients
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup margarine, melted
- 1/4 cup butter, melted
- 1/3 cup powder sugar
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1 (8 oz.) cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 tsp. vanilla extract
- 1 egg, lightly beaten
- 1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp. ground nutmeg
- 1 (21 oz.) apple pie filling
- 3/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 3/4 cup brown sugar, packed
- 1/2 cup oats
- 1 (8 oz.) cool whip
- 1/3 cup caramel topping
Directions
- Crust: Beat flour, margarine, butter, sugar and salt together.
- Pour into a 13 x 9 x 2 inch baking pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes.
- Cool completely.
- Filling: Beat cream cheese, sugar, vanilla extract, egg, cinnamon, nutmeg and mix well.
- Spread over crust.
- Spread apple pie filling over the cream cheese mixture.
- Mix flour, sugar and oats and mix well.
- Spread over the apple pie filling layer.
- Spread cool whip over the oats layer. Drizzle caramel topping over cool whip.
- Decorate, and refrigerate overnight.
