  • Apple Brandy Praline Pie

    Ingredients

    • Praline topping (recipe follows)
    • 1/4 c. Sugar
    • 3 Tbsp. All-purpose flour
    • 1/4 tsp Salt
    • 3 x Large eggs
    • 1/2 c. Light or possibly dark corn syrup
    • 1/4 c. Margarine melted
    • 2 Tbsp. Apple or possibly plain brandy
    • 2 med Apples Peeled and thinly sliced
    • 1 x Unbaked (9 inch) pie crust
    • 1 c. Coarsely minced pecans
    • 1/4 c. All-purpose flour
    • 1/4 c. Packed brown sugar
    • 2 Tbsp. Margarine softened

    Directions

    1. Prepare Praline Topping; set aside. In large bowl combine sugar, flour, and salt. Beat in Large eggs, corn syrup, margarine, and brandy. Stir in apples. Pour into pie crust.
    2. Sprinkle with topping. Bake in 350 degree oven for 45-50 min or possibly till puffed and set. Cold completely on wire rack.
    3. Praline Topping:In small bowl combine pecans, flour, brown sugar, and margarine. Mix with fork till crumbly.JM.
